Emily has been a professional potter since the mid 1980s, covering a diverse range of styles and forms, underpinned by her ever popular Blue and White range. Every single piece of Emily Laszuk pottery is handmade, hand-painted and hand fired in her studio north of Bathurst.
My studio is open many days of the year and in particular on the first weekend of the month when the Bathurst Arts Trail runs (www.bathurstartstrail.com). You can see the work being created; firstly formed on the wheel and then the many fascinating processes that follow leading to a unique finished work. I work hard to make sure that my pots both function well and please the eye. I am always open to commisions as I find that they can lead to interesting new areas of exploration!
